The 2020 IMPRS conference will take place from Wednesday 3th of June until Friday 5th of June at the Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics, Wundtlaan 1, 6525 XD Nijmegen, the Netherlands.
To the Netherlands: Visitors from outside the Netherlands can come by plane via Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (direct train connection to Nijmegen), Eindhoven Airport and Rotterdam Airport. Additionally, Nijmegen is also accessible by international train from various cities in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, France and the UK.
In the Netherlands: Once in the Netherlands, plan your trip using www.ns.nl (trains only) or www.9292.nl (all modes of public transportation). App equivalents are also available. The closest bus stops near the Max Planck Institute are Spinozagebouw/ Tandheelkunde and van Peltlaan. You can buy train and bus fare tickets at the train station or in the bus, but you may also want to buy an OV-Chipcard. With this contactless smart card you can travel by train, bus, metro, tram and ferry throughout the Netherlands using a pre-loaded credit smart card. OV-chipcards can be bought for €7,50 at airports or train stations at the service counter or ticket machines. Furthermore, at Nijmegen Central Station the NS provides bike rentals at €3,85 for 24 hours. The bike ride from Nijmegen Central Station is about 15 minutes.
